Lil' Breakers Girls Hockey
The new Lil’ Icebreakers girls hockey team will include a combination of learning how to skate, working on balance & agility, learning basic hockey skills and most of all, having fun. Portman Hockey has partnered with the Duluth Girls Hockey Association for this opportunity in hopes to further expand this program offering.
So, if you and your daughter have an interest in exploring hockey with other girls within her age with no boys around, here’s a great way to get her started.
What will it cost me? NO Fees
What age(s)? Girls age 4 – 8yrs (no skating experience is ok)
What are the ice times? The team will practice on Tuesday & Thursday’s at Portman from 5pm – 6pm. The schedule may change to Monday and Wednesdays if there is a higher demand for those days but based on last year’s launch of this program, Tuesday & Thursday’s worked great.
Please feel free to share this invite to your friends and family who may know someone who would like to participate with your child. This program does not have any boundary issues so if you’re local rink does not have this offering available, your skater is more than welcome to join us at Portman.
